All of our staff are trained as Veterinary Assistants to provide at-home veterinarian-prescribed medical administration including oral, topical, eye, & ear medications, subcutaneous fluids & injections, wound treatment, bandage changing, & bladder expression. Nail trims can also be added on to any service.

Medical administration can be added to any Drop-In Visit, Dog Walk, & Overnight Pet Sitting.
Our medical care services are fluid administration, oral medication administration, injectable medication administration, eye/ear/topical medication application, bandage change, & wound cleaning.
Nail trimming, ear cleaning, anal gland expressing, & bladder expressing are available as specific services that can be added to any appointment.

Nail Trimming
A nail trim is one of the most stressful events at the vet. Not only is the nail trim itself stressful, but being at the vet is stressful enough! We will come to your house to trim your pet's nails, so your pet doesn't have to go anywhere. We come equipped with different sizes of nail trimmers & styptic powder (commonly known as Quick Stop). You can be at home at the time of the nail trim if you feel that your pet would be comforted by your presence.
EAR CLEANING
Lots of pets' ears get neglected & are prone to infection. We will come to your house to clean your pet's ears, so your pet doesn't have to go to the vet! We come equipped with ear cleaning solution, cotton balls, gauze, & cotton swabs. You can be at home at the time of the ear cleaning if you feel that your pet would be comforted by your presence.
ANAL GLAND EXPRESSION
Anal gland expression, like nail trimming, is one of the most stressful events at the vet. Not only is the expression itself stressful, but being at the vet is stressful enough! We will come to your house to express your pet's anal glands, so your pet doesn't have to go anywhere. We come equipped with gloves, gel, wipes, & deodorizing spray. You can be at home at the time of the expression if you feel that your pet would be comforted by your presence.
Supply Delivery
It's easy to lose track of time &, before you know it, your pet is almost out of his or her medication, food, or supplies. Fear not, for we can pick up and delivery whatever your pet needs before running out. Just let your veterinarian know that one of our PWAs will be retrieving your pet's medications & either leave a form of payment with us or make arrangements with your clinic. We will also go to the pet supply store of your choice for non-medical items.
The fee for Medication & Supply Pick-Up does not include the cost of the items to be purchased.

Need food, treats, toys, supplies, or medication for your pet? Let us know your favorite supply store or your veterinary clinic & we'll go pick up whatever you need.
At the time of pick-up, you will be sent a digital receipt which can be reimbursed via Venmo or PayPal to Ohana. Reimbursements must be made by the time that the delivery had been completed.
If your supplies are over 50 pounds, there will be a second PWA assigned to assist in lifting. A $10 fee will be added for supplies over 50 pounds.
Prior to a PWA retrieving & delivering medication & supplies from your veterinary clinic, you must notify your clinic that an Ohana PWA is authorized by you to do so. All medications & supplies must be paid for in advance prior to a PWA arriving to the clinic unless you have made arrangements to be invoiced by your veterinary clinic.

PUP SHUTTLE
It's hard enough to manage your own schedule & transportation let alone allow enough time in the morning to drop your pup off at daycare or find time in the middle of your workday to take your pet to the vet or groomer. We will pick up and drop off your pet to & from home, daycare, boarding, the vet, the groomer, or grandma's house.

We will drive your pet to &/or from your house, the veterinary clinic, the groomer, obedience class, & daycare or boarding. Your pet can be the only passenger or one of up to three; therefore, space is limited.
